Training
Mirrijini primary objective is to improve the health of Aboriginals
in remote communities; almost as important to the community is its'
secondary objective; to encourage the training and employment of
Aboriginal people in pharmacy and pharmacy related positions. Mirrijini
has the opportunity to be at the "cutting edge" of pharmacy
practice and open the door to a new avenue for young pharmacy graduates.
Addressing
all levels of education the Mirrijini project encourages indigenous
and non-indigenous training in remote communities, leading to specific
employment, in the following positions;
- Pharmacy
Technician
- Aboriginal
Health Worker In Pharmacy

Pharmacy Graduate
- Pharmacy
Student
- Pharmacist
Aboriginal Health
Workers and/or Pharmacy Technicians who wish to further their studies,
with the potential to become Pharmacists are encouraged and supported
to follow this path through a Tertiary
Enabling Program prior to applying for the degree course.
